This book follows one country's Guantanamo detainees, from their lives beforehand, to the nightmarish captivity, to their release and the lives they have tried to remake. It is told by a human rights lawyer with decades of Guantanamo experience, who successfully represented the last two Kuwaiti 'forever prisoners.'
