In "Sweet Youth", the younger poet and the older one meet at an eternal moment and a dialogue in poetry ensues, as the Allen Grossman of 2001 and his counterpart 50 years earlier respond to each other's words. The poems are taken from his first three volumes, with new ones written in his 70th year.
